Value First began in 2011 as A&A Associates, founded by Mohammed Abubackar in collaboration with experienced professionals who had retired from various government offices. That mix of first-hand knowledge of how government departments work and a disciplined, systematic approach became the foundation of the firm.
In 2020, A&A Associates was rebranded as Value First, reflecting how far the practice had grown and its commitment to putting client value first. The name changed, but the team, the standards and the people behind the work did not.

Mohammed Abubackar started the firm in 2011 as A&A Associates, built around a simple conviction: statutory compliance should be handled by people who understand both the law and the way government offices work. In 2020 he led its rebrand as Value First.
A commerce graduate of St Joseph’s College of Commerce with a master’s from Bangalore University, he began his career as a compliance advisor and has spent more than a decade on PF, ESIC, payroll, contract labour and labour law compliance. He leads client relationships personally, and he is the name clients mention most in their Google reviews. Under his leadership the firm has grown to serve 300+ clients across six regions.
